The Georgetown Prep Haas Society

Georgetown Preparatory School established The Haas Society to recognize the generosity of all participants in the School’s planned giving programs.

The Haas Society honors the late Frederick Haas’s (class of 1921) example of stewardship, generosity, farsightedness, and faith in Georgetown Prep’s future and mission.

The remarkable legacy of Frederick Haas and his generous family includes much that gives Georgetown Prep its distinctive and unique character today. In addition to the establishment of the School’s planned giving society, the Haas Humanities Building, which opened in the fall of 1994, was generously donated by the Haas family.

The Haas Society honors and seeks to preserve this distinguished tradition of giving at Georgetown Prep. Participation in any of Georgetown Prep’s planned giving programs—including bequests, life-income arrangements, and other deferred gifts—automatically qualifies you for membership in The Haas Society. Contact Georgetown Prep’s Development Office for more information on how to join.

If you have already included Georgetown Prep in a bequest or other planned gift, we hope you will let us know. Your willingness to be listed as a member of The Haas Society encourages others to follow your example. We acknowledge and respect those who wish to remain anonymous, but we urge you to let us know of your plans on a confidential basis.

If you have not yet included Georgetown Prep in your plans and you would like to explore the best options for you and your family, do not hesitate to contact us. We would be glad to provide a confidential forum to discuss your options without any obligation.
